Event and Aging In Community Consultant.
An early advocate of Beacon Hill Village and Aging In Place Communities I created events, involving founders of Beacon Hill, to introduce and promote the "village" concept to top tri-state and local government officials. This accelerated local interest helped stimulate the creation of the many new regional communities which today offer older adults the independence of living at home and providing the services they need when they need them.

Mid Atlantic Director 2007-2008
National Aging In Place Council, Washington, DC
Created and involved NAIPC members in major widely publicized events attended by over 700 seniors and 40 exhibitors. Heightened public awareness of little known organization. Formed strategic partnerships with other organizations serving thousands of seniors. Introduced NAIPC to top tri-state government officials and local residents leading to greater interest in communities that offer adults the independence of living at home by providing services they require when they need them.
